I hope you enjoy the show. There are some stunning exhibits just a shame about the music

Gina, Thank you for another interesting delve into textile related art history. Bluebells - such a lovely colourful photo. Apparently, bluebells at their best this year due to the wet winter.

That would explain it, as they seem to be really beautiful this year. We could do with some of that rain now though. I can’t remember having to water on the allotment in April before!

Now I’m based in Devon, I miss many of these V&A exhibitions. But I have in the past suffered the same experience when trying to view specimens, noticing how some people have a distinct lack of spatial awareness.

The RAMM in Exeter recently hosted several of Grayson Perry’s tapestries, maps and pots. Thankfully, it wasn’t spoiled by massive crowds so we could spend ages studying and returning to all the exhibits - without music!

It was the music that was the killer for me!

I can't wait to try that pasta dish. Lots of my favourite ingredients and very quick to produce. What more could anyone need?

Do try it Sheena. It’s one where the sum is so much tastier than all its composite parts!

It sounds like a great exhibition but a poor experience. What a shame.

Sadly, I think a lot of these block buster exhibitions are all about getting as many people through as possible. I might try going again later in the day.
