Away From my Desk
No usual newsletter/blogpost from me this week because I am away from home. You might find me having a leisurely breakfast hereā¦
Or I might be having a quick swim.
Hopefully I will be back next week to tell you more but meanwhile Iām taking a break from the usual routine, staying off social media, not having to worry about cooking meals, laundry, running errands or visiting my Mum, which I am trying to say without feeling guilty or worrying about her. I wouldnāt change a single second of the time I get to spend with Mum but thatās not to say it doesnāt get wearying sitting in the overheated claustrophobic atmosphere of the care home having the same conversation over and over again, knowing that in ten minutes after Iāve gone she wonāt remember I have even been there.
Time to recharge my batteries. Thank you for reading, thanks for sticking with me and Iāll see you next week.
