I'm fine... mostly just hurt pride! But I'm always bumping into things or bashing my head. Leaving drawers open is the worst. I almost tripped over again this morning... there was a twig in the way!!!
Ouch! Glad you’re ok - and your glasses, too: that’s an enormous pain in the whotsit, fixing them. I’ve only fallen badly a couple of times: broke my arm. Another time, I was unhurt, but covered in mud. It’s the surprise that gets me - one moment you’re walking along, the next - Bam - how did I get here? I’m more of one for banging my head into things or randomly walking into doorframes. This week it was the very sharp back corner of the dresser, that I’d moved to clean behind, meeting the top of my skull when I stood up. Dangerous games, cleaning…
My husband, who is a frequent visitor to the Netherlands, tells me that he has been told that people make deliberate window displays on their window sills to encourage passers-by to gaze in.
I'm prone to falling, more so since I had a stroke but not caused by that. I'm really dilgent now about thinking where I put my feet, but it's a bore not being safe to look up at things as I walk. Slightest change underfoot and over I could go, but steps and stairs are my biggest downfall- literally. Keep safe and upright.
That is interesting to hear your husband's experience of window gazing in the Netherlands too. I think my problem with falling is that I am naturally clumsy and I just need to be more careful. I'm always bumping into things and knocking stuff over too! Hoping you stay safe and upright too Jane!

Oh my, sounds like me! Sounds like it’s time to ease off a bit and subtly start to raise that drawbridge...
I’m not sure how that works either 😉

I thought I had replied to you but realise I just left a random comment below... do I know what I'm doing? Most of the time not!
