My pleasure. I was sad when it was over and now sad that I have finished writing about it!

Thank you so much. I’m slightly worried that I won’t know what to write about next weekend now I have finished writing about Italy but blindly hoping I’ll think of something

What a valuable and worthwhile trip it was. I felt the same about self publishing until I read a couple of books by Linda Gillard, an award winning writer, who moved self publishing and has been very successful. Have a look at her website. As for the Oracle cards, I feel the same, but sometimes guidance comes in very unexpected ways, and I think you should certainly go for it!

I agree that sometimes the universe just guides you to where you want to be. I’m doing a lot of reading and research on the Camino at the moment. Although now I quite fancy reading some Linda Gillard!

I think she is a very interesting example of the changes in self-publishing. I loved Emotional Geology especially.

What a fabulous adventure Gina. I think you should plan your pilgrimage, not least because I would like to read all about it!

Thank you. I’m slightly concerned that one of my my main motivations for a pilgrimage is so I can write about it 😂

Gina, I love your descriptions of our time together. And I agree with you about St Frances of Assisi Basilica - it was dreary inside! I too have adopted the 20 minute writing sprints and find it makes daily writing seem easier. Now plan your pilgrimage walk!

That’s interesting that you felt the same about the Basilica Shelley. I think sometimes it feels as though we ‘should’ be in awe of certain places but nothing like feeling ‘I should’ to put me off!

I agree! I didn’t even stay long or take pictures. But I loved my nun photo op that occurred! 😊

What a fantastic experience! Inspirational: Makes me feel I need to review how we spend not only our holidays but so think more carefully about getting something out of every day and not just getting through the day. Hope to see you here with us sometime soon... Janet

I do so agree Janet. Maybe it’s something about getting older but I just want to make the most of every moment. We will definitely come to see you again before too long

on Labyrinths - after reading Kate Mosse's tome I wanted to see Chartres and we managed a trip year before last. The labyrinth in the cathedral is really beautiful and the whole space worth spending time in. Last week I managed a very short trip to Carcassonne but it was so hot I didn't see very much of the old town. I envy your travels, they are beyond my husband now and therefore limited for me too. Thanks for your updates. x

That is so interesting Deborah, thank you. I’ve not been to Chartres nor Carcassonne. I love the idea of the labyrinth in the cathedral x
