Happy Christmas! Have a restful one - and enjoy the rocky road and other nibbles with a glass of something toothsome and perhaps a bit of knitting on the side - though you might need an extra pair of hands to hold it all, plus the new granddaughter!

Thank you! And the same to you and yours, I imagine it will be a tricky one this year but raise a glass and remember good times. Thinking of you xx

Clementine cake appears here too - also using oranges, orange and lemon, lemon (with a sugar adjustment), and once with raspberries. Son -in-law won't eat anything containing dried fruit, cherries, or spices, mince pies and Christmas pudding, beloved by the rest of us, are a no-no for him. Could be worse, he likes sprouts, so not a complete disaster! Have a lovely Christmas, Gina.

I like the sound of making it with lemon! I find the bigger the family gets the more allergies and preferences there are.But I figure no one is going to starve and there's always something they can eat! Happy Christmas!
